NUMBER 3028?
In June 2020, a very unusual Louis Panormo guitar is in the workshop for restoration.
It has a German Stauffer type head and the fingerboard is level with the soundboard, two features I have not before seen on a Louis Panormo guitar.
It has a black leaf pattern applied to the lower part of the soundboard. The bridge, label, inlay, rosette and internal work appear very like the Panormo's work. The back and sides are solid rosewood.
The Stauffer type head is interesting. It needed lubrication and I removed it to do that job. The rear brass plate of the head is stamped "Baker".
